The Female Form and the Amorphous Human
Much of my work embraces the power of the female form and the role of women in history, mythology, and ancient cultures. But you will also find I lean heavily on the classic amorphous human form. The amorphous human figure stands as a captivating and enigmatic motif in art, embodying a departure from rigid anatomical representations in favor of fluid, shape-shifting forms. By opting for indistinct and malleable forms, I aim to create a space for viewers to project their own emotions and narratives onto the artwork. The amorphous figure serves as a symbolic vessel, allowing me to explore the complexities of identity, emotion, and the ever-changing nature of our existence. It is through the ambiguity of the amorphous human figure that I seek to evoke a sense of connection, inviting individuals to find resonance with their own stories and perspectives within the evolving contours of the art.
